Through the Back Door to Spain
The Muslims have a book that provides rules for praying.
All these peoples love Spain and amour.
They come on a bus with gumption and grit.
But with a trusty Guide or Two
To Spain the seasoned travelers came
To Espana with her charms so varied
To see the wonders and taste the wines
To pray for sun and curse the rain
To listen to guided tours both loud and soft
To worry about menus complex and confusing
To know that the dollar is not that strong
This and more is their Spanish adventure
For it all fits together and makes perfect sense
So let's lift our glasses and all give a toast

The Jews have a book that provides rules for living.
The Christens have a book that provides rules for giving.
The ETBD's have a book for where to be staying.
But it's the ETBD's that come through the back door.
A little confused about when to stand or to sit.
They can find the Aseo, Toliet, or Loo
Some healthy, some fit, some a little lame
Suitcases, backpacks and luggage they carried
To peruse the stalls and stand in lines
To order coffee solo and bread as pain
To wander dungeons and visit choir lofts
To eat and enjoy food plentiful and amusing
To know that a missed souvenir would be wrong
They love it all and no part would they censure
They are 100% for Spain, not a one on the fence
To our wonderful Guides and our fascinating hosts.
